Every child (minor) has the right to remain unmolested and free from genital mutilation (or mutilation of any kind).
This is a human right and ought not to be carried out under the guise of religion or culture.
Despite the benefits touted by those who mutilate the genitalia of children (circumcise etc.) the child cannot give consent and therefore ought not to be subjected to such cruelty.
Anyone leaving the United States and her territories to conduct such an operation ought to be prosecuted upon return. Such measures could perhaps be pushed for globally.
