Farm animals are no longer kept outside where they can roam freely and graze on grass, as often depicted in American culture. Many animals (specifically pigs) are kept permanently indoors in small cages called "gestation crates." Pigs spend their entire lives in these crates where they are unable to simply turn around or move even in the slightest.
This is just one of the examples the cruel practices preformed at factory farms.
The practice of putting pigs into gestation crates has been outlawed in every country in the European Union and multiple American states. But its not enough. Please sign this petition to encourage the fed to create a national law outlawing the use of gestation crates and other abusive practices.
