We call for the abolition of government funded high-kill animal shelters financed by tax payer dollars that only serve to line the pockets of veterinarians participating in these extermination camps. Many people have to surrender their pets in a bad economy because they can't feed them; but there are a growing number of charitable organizations (including Pet Food Stamps.org) dedicated to providing as much pet food as possible for pet owners in financial distress, in order to reduce the alarmingly high kill rate at these alleged 'shelters'.
