Our government's use of flags, signs and insignia associated with treason or sedition against the United States is inconsistent with the principles upon which that government should operate. The display of these symbols, to include any symbol associated with the former Confederate States of America, should be discontinued by all agencies of local, state and federal government and left exclusively to private citizens and non-government entities.
