Outlaw Handguns

Created by E.J. on November 27, 2014

There are over 12,000+ deaths a year due to firearms in the United States alone. 90% of these deaths are due to handguns being legal and available to all citizens and being used by the police force.
Our founding father's idea of "a right to bare arms" was not for people to carry handguns in their pocket for no one to see until they take it out and shoot anyone they please, but for defense and military ability. I am not suggesting we outlaw guns, because in affect there would be less control in the police force and a weaker military due to almost every other country having guns in their military, but if handguns were outlawed, everyone would feel safer knowing that any person could NOT have a gun hidden in their pocket, and the police could NOT shoot anyone as easily.
