We have seen that knives can be used to hurt people. Since we are trying to regulate guns because they are used to hurt or kill people then we should regulate knives as well. We all know that those that want to inflict harm care so deeply about the law and want to uphold the law. So if we regulate knives then they will no longer be used to commit crimes.
