Trayvon Benjamin Martin a 17 year old African American from the state of Florida by George Zimmerman. This fact is not in dispute. What is in dispute by many is the law that allowed George Zimmerman to get a "Not Guilty" verdict.
The Stand your ground law allows for deadly force to be used and has been put into play in many ways that defy the constitution of our United States.
I ask that this Administration put an end to this law and ones like it. So that we never again have to worry about children laying dead in the middle of their own neighborhood because someone was afraid of them.
