Pharmaceutical companies have been filling up the airwaves by pushing their product(s) onto the public. Even though the public cannot “*freely purchase” their ware (*A doctor must first write a prescription). These ads are geared towards people telling the doctor what they need; rather than the doctor telling their patients. These ads are filled with sincere music and people enjoying the outdoors and whatnot while the narrator goes on nonchalantly telling you of the “possible life threatening reactions” associated with the medication.
The advertisement of medication that cannot be “freely purchased” should be outlawed. Let the trained healthcare professional make the skilled decision for what a patient needs.
