Many NFL teams held their cities hostage when they wanted a new stadium. The citizens who love football didn't want to give up their teams. As a result they took up corrupt bargains. Now in some cities citizens are forced to fund all or some of the stadium costs, while the team exists for free. However the citizens do not want to pay sky high ticket prices and must suffer through blackouts, where they cannot watch teams play in the stadiums that they pay for. This petition proposes that if teams receive taxpayer money they cannot blackout games.
