In this growing age of interconnectivity, as automation reaches out and takes hold of more and more of our day to day existence, from small computers running in motor vehicles, and air craft, to the software on your mobile phone. We have an expanding array of options in the tool kit of any software developer. Some of these tools represent a grave risk to the reliability and safety of our nations critical infrastructure.
Rather than attempt a comprehensive reform to the entire body of linguistic design this proposal is simply a request to address low hanging fruit by limiting what programming languages can be used in the United States and it's territories.
My specific suggested list of languages to restrict from use, and phase out includes:
Javascript, Ruby, and Java.
