In recent years, the Westboro Baptist Church of Kansas has made itself well-known in the United States for its controversial signs displayed at its pickets of funerals.
Most recently, with the tragic shooting of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, the church has been rumored to be protesting the funerals of the little children who were killed as well as the teachers. A petition on Change.org was set up to outlaw picketing in Connecticut, but I was hoping we might could outlaw it worldwide.
The church does not only picket funerals, but churches in general, and other establishments (check their picketing schedule).
I feel this is a violation of our first amendment rights.
Do you?
