Besides the fact that puppy mills offer horrendous standards of living for animals, there are millions of dogs and cats that are currently in shelters, waiting for homes. Unfortunately, there are so many dogs and cats that need homes, that many shelters have to euthanize these poor creatures. How can we let these living creatures die? Just because these animals aren't pure bred does not mean that they deserve to die. We hereby petition the Obama administration to make adoption the primary and encouraged means of animal acquisition in this country.
