As a member of the Humane Society of the United States, puppy mills should be outlawed. Anyone that has done even a small amount of research on puppy mills, will be heart-broken to learn of how dogs in them are treated. They are physically & mentally abused until they are no longer breedable & then are discarded. Of the discarded, the fortunate ones (a small number) go to rescue groups. The unfortunate ones (many) are put to death.
