Outlaw Smoking In Any Residence Or Building That a Non-Smoker Resides In Or Non-Smokers Frequent.

Created by M.G. on April 17, 2015

Second-hand smoke is a major and growing issue in the USA. It can cause cancer, tooth rot, and even death for people who have never smoked in their life. Not everyone has the option to remove themselves from this situation, especially children, pets, and adults with no/low income. However, very few smokers seem to care about the health issues they are causing others. I propose outlawing smoking in any building or residence (including but not limited to apartments, separated housing, and businesses) in which any non-smoker lives or frequents. With this proposal, smoking would still be freely allowed outside. This proposal does not include vaporizer pens or e-cigarettes, as their residue does not cause the issues that second-hand smoke does.
