AZ Republican legislators wrote and passed a bill which Governor Brewer wisely vetoed that would allow businesses to discriminate against gays. This would in effect allow hiring discrimination as well as customer discrimination against gay citizens----what next ?? Racial discrimination ?? No females allowed ? No males allowed ???? Their proposed bill adds to the ongoing problem of separation of church and state not enforced [in force]. As a USMC Veteran, I am opposed [as are a great number of fellow servicemen] to any legislation that so openly attacks any group of U.S. Citizens. State legislators must be made by law [Federal] to strictly adhere to all anti-discrimination laws !!!!!!!
