Every year, over 100 million animals are subjected to inhumane and cruel tests in order to determine whether cosmetics are safe to use. Please help to end their needless pain and suffering.
The animals that are tested on consist mainly of rabbits, mice, rats, and other rodents. However dogs, cats, and primates may also be used. The animals are subjected to horrible tests including: being shaved and covered in formulas to test irritation, having products sprayed into their eyes to test if they go blind, and being force fed chemicals to see how much it takes to kill them. These tests are unnecessary and wrong.
Animal testing has already been banned in several places and the United States of America should be next. Sign this petition to end animal testing in the cosmetic industry.
