Outlaw the unsolicited delivery of phone books.

Created by H.B. on February 19, 2013

Every year, millions of phone books are printed, put into plastic bags, and left on doorsteps across the country. It's 2013; nearly everyone uses the internet to locate a business. If someone would like a printed phone book, they should be able to contact the distributor to request one delivered to their home, but it should not be forced on citizens across the country.

I know this isn't the most hard-hitting petition out there, but I think it is important. This practice is wasteful and essentially amounts to a company littering on your private property.
