Outlaw the use and management of Digital Rights Managment (DRM) Servers.

Created by M.O. on March 07, 2013

Digital Right Management Servers (or DRM server) have been a blight to the PC gaming community. We get it that companies are just trying to protect their products from piracy, but it's not helping to solve the problem. People still get around the DRM and it's only making the problem worse.

For those who don't know, DRM servers require a stable and ongoing internet connection to play a game, offline and online. This is unfair to those who cannot afford such a connection. I, at one point, was stuck with a very unstable internet connection. Most of the day, I wouldn't even be able to go online to play games that are DRM-enabled!

Bottom line, DRM is unfair to those who can't afford a decent internet connection and could potentially harm developers profits.
