Outlaw the use, leasing, or sale of public school land for erecting cell towers or other structures that may pose harm to the children and surrounding communities.
The conclusions reached on studies conducted on the effects of cell towers on the health of those in close proximity to cell towers varies greatly. When looking at these studies as a whole, the best one can say is that the risk to public health is inconclusive. It is clear there is not enough information on the safety of these structures to allow them in such close proximity to our children and their schools. If a structure is not recognized by the public as "safe" or if there is findings suggesting that it may pose a risk to the public then a public school should not be allowed to lease, sell or allow the use its' land for it.
