Outlaw workplace bullying

Create laws that make bullying in the workplace illegal. There are laws on the books, as there should be, that are aimed at protecting our children from bullies. However, no state has outlawed bullying in the workplace. The effects of this behavior on those on the receiving end are immense. From physical to emotional damage, these individuals have no way to stand up for themselves unless the bullying is based specifically on a protected class. They often feel unsafe in their job and scared to take any steps to stop the bullying. It is time for the bully boss and bully co-worker to face consequences for their actions. Not only will this make for healthier workplaces across the country, but people will be more productive and help out country's economy.
