After reading the news about the Texas woman who shot her children then herself after being denied benefits to provide for her family. I find it extremely disturbing that when hard working AMERICANS work there entire life and either fall on hard times and/or retire and are forced to live on a "fix-income" can not receive federal benefits or receive benefits that is sub-par. Speaking from experience having fell on hard times once. I know from experience working since I was 15 and paying my taxes. Fell on hard times only to have my government deny me benefits I have paid into my entire working life. While people who sit at home having babies they know they can not afford or faking a disability collect hundreds of money in taxpayers income.
