People like the candidates running for president this election do not deserve to hold any powerful office in our country.
In fact, should this "office" even have as much power as it does?
What if, instead, we introduce a direct democratic voting system, designed to allow citizens to vote on specific issues, not candidates.
This system will be online, protected by our nation's strongest cyber security, and will allow citizens to vote on issues like abortion, gun control, immigration, and drug policy. This way we don't have to vote on fallible, corrupt individuals, but rather what is important to us.
It's an elegant solution for a big problem.
