We petition the Government of the United States and the Department of Education to restructure and modify the educational system of the United States for K-12 to provide a strong base of knowledge for those choosing to work in all fields. In elementary school children should learn the basics of reading, writing, arithmetic, basic good character traits and social skills. When they enter middle school, they should begin expanding on the basics and learning beginning humanities, civics, economics and technology, in addition to strengthening their good citizenship and social skills. In high school,students can choose a course of study geared to the career path they plan, in addition to expanding the technological, humanities,and arts skills and continuing to refine character and citizenship.
