It is the main goal of this petition to persuade the Obama Administration and the U.S. Department of Education to overhaul the assessment standards included in the Common Core.
The current performance standards included in the Common Core have lead to the creation of unrealistic and high expectations for student and teacher performance. This has led to the loss of jobs and further decline of the United States, in terms of education and global competitiveness.
