I am writing this petition to bring my personal struggle with the immigration system in the US to you. I first came to the US in 2005 as a student pursuing my masters in the technical field of Information Security. I graduated with flying colors, started work at a prestigious organization on Wall Street but my career growth has been curtailed by my visa issues. I applied for my GC 5 years back in the EB2 category. Even after 5 years, I don't think I am any closer to getting my GC! I have always maintained my legal status in the country, been a law abiding citizen & paid taxes on time. I would petition that the immigration system for people like me be overhauled & the process made easier, less time consuming & arduous. Currently the system is highly ineffective & fraught with many delays.
