That each state have the right to no longer abide by the Supremacy Clause. Laws passed by the US Congress and the US Supreme Court must be ratified by the individual states before they can take effect in each respective state. Nullification laws should be decided by the state attempting nullification rather than the Federal Government which is in the position to impose such laws. In short the organization making the laws should not be the one who decides which laws are fair. Such practice circumvents the system of checks and balances and weakens State's Rights as guaranteed by the US Constitution. Precedent exists in the Nullification Laws passed in Texas 2010 and Georgia 2012. The State's First Amendment would allow for greater state autonomy while allowing the union to remain whole.
