On Jan 20, 2014, King Limited, a game studio known for "Candy Crush Saga" was granted the trademark for the word "candy". Using their new found trademark, King Limited is now able to control the use of the word "candy" in the free market, stifling developer and company creativity and effectively creating a monopoly on the use of the word for any company without the funds to litigate against them.
We the People request that this trademark be reexamined for its legitimacy.
