When billionaires can buy legislation, we no longer have a constitutional republic, a democracy, or free market capitalism, but an oligarchy that can rig the game in its favor. When our elected officials allow this, and receive campaign contributions because of it, they are prostituting themselves for their own interest, as well as their bribers. Free market capitalism is not synonymous with rigged market corporatism. These are not the principles America was founded on.
