The US House of Representatives have just passed a bill that would ban federal funding of planned parenthood for a year. This is not okay. Planned Parenthood does so much more for people than provide abortions. They educate, provide several health care services, STD testing, and provide safe spaces for individuals. Plus, if people can't receive abortions due to lack of federal funding, that won't stop abortions from happening, it will only stop SAFE abortions. Something needs to be done about this.
