The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled 4-2 that a search warrant is NO LONGER needed to search a vehicle. This means that rather than being asked to search your vehicle, the officer gets to decide if he wants to search. It is a clear violation of our 4th amendment right.
The 4th Amendment prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures and sets out requirements for SEARCH WARRANTS based on probable cause as determined by a neutral judge or magistrate.
