Cyntoia Brown was a 16 year old charged and convicted of first degree murder and felony murder in Tennessee. She was sexually and violently exploited throughout her short life all the way up until the murder of a man who brought her home to have sexual relations with her. Cyntoia's argument from which she never waivered, was that she acted in self defense. Case evidence supports her claim. This girl was charged in 2004 when she was just 16 years old, and convicted as an adult to a life term six years later in 2010. To keep her in prison any longer is a miscarriage of justice and goes against the moral theory of rehabilitation.
