Want to spend your retirement money on medications? Big Pharma took a profit of $711 billion in 2013 by price gouging seniors and tax payers in the USA. Now that’s a hard pill to swallow! Sign a petition to propose a change in the Medicaid/Medicare age limit from 65 to 55 for the elderly, extend the children's Medicaid program to ages 25 to offer low income families extra coverage; and permit Medicare to negotiate cheaper drug costs by banning price gouging based on international cost averages.This can be funded by taxing hospitals for readmitting patients for the same illnesses habitually, taxing insurance companies that don't offer healthy incentive earning programs to use for deductibles, taxing pharmaceutical companies that do not fund financial assistance within their specialty area.
