This petition is to find gun ammo suppliers or its affiliates liable for negligence where deemed reasonably so. The PCLAA (Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act) enacted by George W. Bush in 2005 prohibits plaintiffs from seeking just compensation for negligent behavior on the part of gun ammo suppliers or its affiliates.
There should not be special, carved-out exemptions for gun ammo suppliers or its affiliates. They should be held to the same standard of care as an auto manufacturer maker would be held to, e.g. Volkswagen. In the general public interest and to mitigate the prevalence of mass shootings, we the people demand this law be overturned immediately.
