The Supreme Courts ruling on "Citizens United" directly threatens the democratic process in the United States. Undue influence from corporations and lobbyist conjoined with the overwhelming campaign spending involved with Presidential elections, threatens to make our revered democracy more autocratic in nature. The fear of living in a society where the wealthiest among us are always poised to lead at the highest pinnacles of political office scares me and many other's to the core. I hope this administration takes forceful action on this issue.
