overturn the Supreme Court ruling allowing law enforcement to enter/search a home without the home owners consent.

Created by C.M. on February 27, 2014

In the case of Fernandez vs. California, the California Supreme Court determined Walter Fernandez did not have the right deny law enforcement officials entry to his home. The ruling stated, if one person in the house consented, then law enforcement may enter the home without a warrant. Though Fernandez originally denied police entry, they later entered his home while he was not present.
