Childcare costs are outrageously high. Most two parent families and even single parent families work 50-60 hours a week to pay just the the childcare costs. They can't afford to feed themselves or take care of their families. People don't want to work because their take-home would be less than the cost of living. I think if government regulates childcare cost to make it income /ratio equal, then that will bring people back in to the workforce, as it stands now families can't afford to work because of childcare costs.
