Owning a wild, exotic pet that weighs over 200 lbs should require a license!

Created by A.H. on August 24, 2013

Owning exotic pets such as big cats is a big problem in the US. A lot of people cannot care for the animals correctly. This causes a lot of harm to the animals and can potentially effect the owners risk of getting attacked. Owning pets such as tigers, lions, cougars, and other big cats and exotic animals should require a license. You should have to take classes for owning a pet like that. There should be specific legal guidelines to follow when owning an exotic animal license. Just like there are for vehicle, weapon, food and other licenses.
