Since 2006, the newborn blue babies(low oxygen)are not getting oxygen in the first 10 minutes of their lives, which resulting in increase in Autism/ADHD/Developmental delay/childhood cancers/Brain injuries and even deaths. 90% of the babies are pink within 1 min of their lives after birth. Why should we let the remaining 10% babies suffer? 2 % of them require oxygen in the delivery room! It also increases Neonatal ICU admissions, separation of babies from their mothers and decrease in bonding.
Parents are not aware about the issue and consent is not obtained. This is extremely unethical and illegal,also is a violation to human rights to live. All of us want to have the future generations to be smart and productive to the society. By 2025 in US , Autism alone will cost 1 trillion dollars!
