College tuition is offered in exchange for serving in the military now. I believe offering the same for serving a similar amount time in domestic law enforcement could help resolve some national issues that have arisen recently. Offering to pay for college could solve these issues by encouraging young people from different parts of the country to join law enforcement, when they may not have consider it without the college incentive. This influx of young law enforcement who would be moving onto college within a few years would have a profound influence on the culture of law enforcement. I also think physically having a younger more active police force could help keep people from resorting to deadly force. This won't solve all problems, but I believe it will help.
