We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Pardon all non-violent drug offenders in Federal prisons, serving sentences related to marijuana.

Created by L.E. on November 14, 2016

Cannabis (marijuana) use has been decriminalised in one-fifth of US states. And yet, more than 10,000 Americans are serving sentences in federal prisons for non-violent cannabis offences. It is wrong to incarcerate these non-violent offenders. It destroys lives and families while having little impact on the problem of drug use. We ask President Obama to use his executive powers to pardon all non-violent cannabis offenders before the end of his term in office.
