pardon any nonviolent inmates in federal prison currently serving sentences for any type of marijuana conviction

Created by D.H. on January 19, 2016

This petition calls for the president to use his authority to pardon federal inmates who are currently serving sentences involving marijuana who were nonviolent in their infractions. At the minimum we call for the pardoning of inmates with the same circumstances who committed their crimes in states where marijuana is currently legal for persons 21 years of ages or older.

If not, we respectfully ask the president to state why an activity he and past presidents admit to participating in should result in some losing all their freedom while others lead the free world.
