July 30, 2015 Stephani Merrell was stopped for a leaky load(pallets)and later arrested for refusal to identify during a traffic stop.She verbally identified herself in accordance with the Indiana law, by stating her name D.O.B,address and DLN number but was unable to reach her identification wedged underneath her seat. One of the officers on the scene knew her personally, as they were neighbors, and their son's were best friends yet he denied knowing her. Her vehicle was searched, and her DL was found, and sent with her to jail. Her vehicle was towed. This is a petition to ask that the complaint be re-reviewed, that Stephani be reimbursed for the acquired costs, and damages, and that the officers have disciplinary action taken against them, professionalism classes, and to build the fence.
