Edward Snowden is a national hero whose work has revealed illegal acts by members of our government and should be immediately issued a a full, free, and absolute pardon for any crimes he has committed or may have committed related to blowing the whistle on secret NSA surveillance programs. A failure to do so reveals a hypocrisy of power that undermines the moral legitimacy of those in power and the democratic process as a whole.
