Edward Snowden is a national hero. He risked everything, including a comfortable $200,000/year salary and beautiful home in Hawai'i so that we might know the truth about the mass surveillance programs our intelligence community has been and still is running. We understand the political and practical reasons for President Obama's refusal to do so in 2013 when this petition was last run. Now, at the end of his second term, there is nothing left to stop our President from doing the right thing, which is issuing a full and complete presidential pardon to Mr. Snowden.
