We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Pardon Edward Snowden

Created by D.I. on September 15, 2016

Edward Snowden did a great service to the United States of America by exposing the excesses of NSA domestic spying. Even the U.S. Attorney General says he performed a public service. Many good Americans see him as a hero. Yet Mr. Snowden faces charges under a law that does not let him use a "greater good" or "public good" defense, and all of his many public communications show he believed he was acting to make America stronger and better. Nor is there evidence that he acted for personal gain or believed he was harming the United States. Therefore, we ask President Obama to pardon Edward Snowden.
