We are simply asking President Obama to acknowledge that his administration deceived the country about how much information the NSA was collecting. And because there isn't any type of whistle-blower protection for what Edward Snowden did, his only hope to avoid US prosecution and persecution is a presidential pardon. I am not seeking to end these spying programs, or do anything else that might put Americans in danger. But we were all misled about the size and scope of the NSA's surveillanc, and I for one would like and apology.
I know there is already a Pardon Snowden petition, but I wanted President Obama to answer for the deception as well.
