We believe that Eric Snowden's actions have strengthened democracy and transparency in this country. Even President Obama says that he welcomes this debate. To state that you welcome the debate, then arrest the person who started it, is hypocritical. The preservation of privacy is necessary for a free society . Mr. Snowden should be viewed as a Rosa Parks for informing the public of these intrusive and possibly illegal government activities.
