Pardon every Federal prisoner whose sole offense was marijuana possession of an ounce or less.

Created by D.G. on December 17, 2012

Keeping people in Federal prisons costs money. Marijuana has been legalized in two states and the world hasn't ended. The state criminal systems have stopped pursuing criminal cases. Why should the Federal government spend our tax dollars on jailing people whose only offense was possession of an ounce or less of marijuana? Stop Federal prosecution of possession cases, pardon those who are imprisoned solely for possession, and instead spend the resources attacking real drugs (meth, spice, bath salts).
