Pardon Fatih Senel so that it will lead to a request to repair DD 214 to reflect schooling and combat via DOD command.

Created by F.S. on January 04, 2015

Requesting a pardon for a misdemeanor battery charge that occured 12 February 2000. Because of the Lautenburg Act, Sgt Fatih Senel was discharged from active duty 5 years after the conviction. Because of a deal in lieu of courts martial for erroneous enlistment and fraud, deal was to back date service records to the date of arrest. Unintended consequences resulted with a reflected shorter service dates on the DD214 to 11 months instead of 8 years.

this presidential pardon, if granted, will pave way for another petition through local congressional representative for fixing the DD214 with proper information.
