pardon former gov. Don Siegleman immediately. His conviction was an injustice based on corrupt behavior by Karl Rove.

Created by L.S. on December 20, 2012

Governor Don Siegleman won re-election in Alabama. After the polls closed and all the Democratic poll workers had gone, a Republican poll worker suddenly "discovered" 15,000 "lost" votes that shifted the election to the GOP candidate. When Siegleman protested a Republican U.S. attorney charged him with something that had never been considered a crime and has not since then. He was convicted and denied a pardon despite the efforts of both GOP and Democratic attorneys general to get him pardoned.
